Ty Warren, president of the “Big Bear Film Festival,” and Dave in the lobby of the theatre; I met him at the 2008 film fest.

Mr. Warren is also a well known figure in the movie industry—Dreamworks Pictures.

Lou Diamond Phillips was a special guest speaker at the film fest that day. It was great to meet him and he even took a few minutes of his time to chat with me a bit.

It was a great day for a book promotion.

She loves sci-fi, especially fast-paced thrillers that keep you on the edge.


And after a brief description of the storyline, she was hooked.


An avid reader who is intrigued by UFOs and alien abductions, took the time and interest in picking up a copy. He loved the concept.

A young group listens as Dave explains what prompted him to write this strange and fantastic story.

They were a great group.

Dave was only too happy to have taken a photo with these young readers who were really interested in the book.

It was an enjoyable experience.

L.A. Music Awards
Cliff Morrison and Dave at the L. A. Music Awards. On November 20, 2008 Cliff was awarded "Record Of The Year" for his new CD, "Know Peaking."

Cliff Morrison is the son of the legendary Jim Morrison of the Doors.

The audience was captivated by Cliff when he sang, "The End" a well known Doors classic.

He was awesome to watch as there was no doubt in my mind, he had some of Jim Morrison in him.

And no one person stepped out during his performance. He is a pleasure to know.

Al Bowman is the Executive Producer and Founder of the L. A. Music Awards which was held at the Music Box in Hollywood.

He is a well respected and recognized man dedicated to bringing out the best of the new and up and coming artist to today's music industry for the past 18 years.

Here is Susanna Griffie, a really great person to know. She is also Executive Producer of the L. A. Music Awards.

She was also very busy but I was fortunate enough to chat with her a bit, not to mention that she's going to read my book, The Night They Came. She loves Sci-Fi.

I said, yes...!

He is also the man behind the Marvel Comics becoming feature films. Our meeting was very pleasant and I was really glad to have met him. He's also interested in science fiction

Lorraine Widen, CEO of Cliff Morrison and the Lizard Sun Band, and a great personal friend of mine.

This was her night to enjoy, and watching Cliff get an award was the highlight of the night. Thank you so much Lorraine.

Ray Bradbury at the Strugess Cultural Center of Fine Arts. He spoke about his life and the love of writing.

The man is a legend in his own time and a great inspiration to many writers including myself. It was a pleasure to have met him.
